Besides being historically one of the most traditional residential areas in Madrid, Canillejas is currently one of the sectors with the most development in Madrid, thanks to the tranquillity it offers its residents, its interesting real estate and commercial offer and its close location to strategic places in the city such as Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport and the IFEMA Madrid fairground.
It is a residential neighbourhood that borders the Quinta de Torre Arias park, a landscape space populated with almond trees and cedars that surround a century-old palace.
